  What is iOBACKUP?

  • iOBACKUP is a Windows application that automatically selects, encrypts, transfers, and stores your selected files and folders in our High-Security data centers.  Unlike consumer-grade applications (Dropbox, Mozy, Carbonite, etc) that merely transmit encrypted data, iOBACKUP transmits and stores data in its encrypted format.  The only way to access, decrypt, and restore your data is either on YOUR computer where iOBACKUP is installed or using your recovery information to install iOBACKUP on a different computer.

  Is a credit card or payment information required to participate?

  • During registration no credit card required.  If you decide to upgrade your plan to include more storage capacity or to a different edition, Professional or Enterprise, we would require payment information.

  I'm an LUS Fiber customer, how do I get iOBACKUP?

  • Proceed to the registration page, fill out the required fields and click submit – it is that easy. You will receive an email containing instructions on how to proceed with your license registration, download and installation.  Please use your lusfiber.net email address during registration.

  Do I call LUS Fiber if I have a problem?

  • No. LUS Fiber provides Internet connection services only – LUS Fiber is in no way associated nor does it own or is responsible for iOBACKUP. Skyscraper Data Solutions accepts full responsibility for iOBACKUP clients. Once an LUS Fiber customer agrees to download and install iOBACKUP they become a Skyscraper Data Solutions customer with a separate account and login credentials. LUS and Skyscraper Data Solutions does not share customer information in any way, at any time.
